Barium hydrogen phosphate, an inorganic compound with the chemical formula of BaHPO4, is mainly used in the manufacture of phosphors and fireproof materials. It can also be used as a component of flame retardant and phosphor for ceramic and electronic industry. Soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and ammonium chloride. Insoluble in cold water. It decomposes when heated to 410 ℃.
